Baptisms
We love having baptism services for both children and adults. Baptism preparation meetings are held termly, where we explore the meaning of baptism, the promises we make during the service and how we can live them out in our everyday lives.
Central to baptism is a welcome into the family of God, so we encourage anyone requesting a baptism to attend either Tea, Toast and Toys toddler and baby group, Messy Church or our Sunday Services.
To find out more about baptism and the dates for our next course, please contact our Families and Schools Leader via the church office.
Weddings
We welcome enquiries from those looking to get married.
Our weddings are rooted in the reality of God’s love for us and the Church of England’s teaching on marriage.
To find out more, please contact us or have a look at the Church of England website.
We hold an annual marriage preparation day in February each year, which all couples are requested to attend to prepare them for the commitment of marriage. Our vicar will also arrange to meet with you.
Funerals
A Christian funeral is available to all people whether they are regular worshippers in their local church or not. We are the Church of England in Your Community and are here to support you every step of the way.
The death of a loved one can be a difficult time for family and friends. We are here to support you as a family in your grief and loss and to help give thanks to God for the life of your loved one. Our funeral, thanksgiving and interment of ashes services are all set within the Christian message of hope.
The space within our churchyard is increasingly limited and we are therefore only able to undertake burials and interment of ashes for those with recent and genuine local connections to the community.
If you would like to talk to us about having a funeral, please contact our church office.
